Email from WMI.org

Hi Amy,
Thank you so much! Your package arrived with the donations from the women in your giving circle. You have created a wonderful initiative. We are very grateful that you chose WMI as one of your giving partners.
Thank you for putting the time and effort into researching our organization. Separate thank yous will go out from our board. But, I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your support. Your group's contributions will help fund much needed loans for the rural women in east Africa that WMI serves.
Very best regards,

Email from WMI.org

Hi Amy,
WOW! Thank you so much. We love to have the support of women's groups, since we were started by a group of women to support other women on the other side of the globe.
If your members are interested, we would like to add their emails to our bi-monthly update list. You can send us the email addresses of those who are interested, or you can just send them the wmicontact@gmail.com address and they can email back requesting to be added to the list. People seem to like the bi-monthly updates and pictures from the villages.
We appreciate your efforts to research WMI and find out about our mission and work. The support of women like you and your friends has made our loan outreach program a reality for thousands of rural African women.
Thanks again.
Best regards,
Robyn G. Nietert, President

I was thinking last night that WMI is really a direct KIVA model. The money goes back and forth from lender to borrower directly!

NSJOF reply from Peter

Peter Garang Deng responds to my announcement from last night's meeting:

Excellent! I am soooooooooo excited Marianne to read in your email that you voted for my foundation. Thank you so much for such a great help to my foundation and thank to all women. Please pass my excitemtment to all the women. Let them know that I am so excited for what they have done to my foundation and I look forward to meeting them all in the near future face to face.
I will be giving talk to students at Champlain Valley Union High School but I haven't received the day they would like me to come there yet. I will let you know if anything comes up within Burlington, Vermont. In addition, I am willing to come and talk at your meeting as a speaker if you with your group would like that.

Thank you
Peter

So Peter has offered to come to us. Can we put this up for further discussion?
Marianne
